User Interface Features


Optimized for Windows 7: i-cut Vision Pro 7.0 is the result of a complete re-write with major changes to the basic interface, with a new GUI, new icons, dynamically populated dialogs, iconic palettes and a subtle, organized theme. Multi-document interface ensures more robust communication with the device when multiple documents are open simultaneously. New improved drag and drop support from Windows Explorer and double-click on known file types can also be used to select multiple files.

Simplified user experience: The Production Manager has been simplified by grouping the production settings into the six sub-dialogs: General, Multiple Copies per Table, Feeding, Registration, Barcode Options and Edge Recognition Options. The Edit Tools dialog has been simplified by grouping settings relevant for cutting, laser cutting and routing respectively, into three sub-dialogs. The Edit Layer dialogs have also been simplified to only show the parameters relevant for the tool associated with the layer in question. The dialog now grows and shrinks dynamically to accommodate the assigned parameters.

i-cut Help SystemNew interactive help system: i-cut Vision Pro version 7 includes a new multimedia help system with interactive animations and video developed to help users understand the concepts of digital finishing with i-cut Vision Pro. Some of the interactive content from the help system is also available in the resources section of this site.

Keyboard Shortcuts: Many popular functions are now available via keyboard shortcuts, increasing productivity for advanced users. Keyboard shortcuts are displayed next each feature in drop-down menus.
